It took us a while to prepare our vision of how the area of Low-Code platforms would look in the next few years and specifically in the context of productivity tools for business application developers.

On April 1st, we celebrated the first anniversary of codbex! A year ago, we started our own business based on what we believed cloud developers needed to be productive.

There are many business models, which are applicable to business software, for companies that create products or offer professional services.

The technology stack by codbex, is powerful, highly modularized and provides many deployment options tailored for specific scenarios. The ultimate goal is to increase developer’s productivity, hence decrease time to market of the quality software.

Low code has become a very popular term recently among development communities. To what extent it overlaps with High-Productivity Platform as a Service (hpaPaaS) and Rapid Application Development (RAD) or is it new and uncharted territory, we would like to give our view on this matter.
